Friday is my birthday and I feel that life just gets better and better every day in every way.  I’m so very grateful for all that I get to do each day and that what I do never feels like a job.

I LOVE the turning of the leaves, the crisp weather changes and the first fire in the fireplace with a good warm cup of hot cocoa – which by the way – you will see in today’s blog I am very focused on and for good reason.  I hope you will click through and learn about the cocoa I am now carrying through my company.  I’ve made it very easy for you to try.

My professional life began with teaching and to this day, children who are distressed and suffering are near and dear to my heart.  But that’s not all that matters to me because I’ve also worked alongside anguished parents and teachers in finding the most effective and quick solutions to get everyone involved long term relief.

I’ve done a lot of corporate and business trainings over the years and I always found it interesting that what people wanted to talk about most was their children and would the strategies I taught work on their kiddos.  The answer was always YES please take them home and use them there too.

RU or a Loved One Irritable lately?

Are you or a loved one noticeably more irritable these days?  Maybe it’s due to the change in seasons?

Early in my second marriage, about this time of year I would start feeling a dis-connect with my husband as he seemed to be irritable with just about everything I said or did.

When I would ask him what was going on that he was being so irritable with me, he would just say he was feeling ‘dark’ inside.  He was already on antidepressant medication that had been working just fine so that’s when we began investigating other possible causes.
