Imagine just how empowering it feels to enjoy wonderful holiday foods AND feel full and ready to stop BEFORE making yourself miserable! You absolutely CAN manage yourself easily and naturally with the additional information I’ve included today’s FEEL BETTER DO BETTER segment about several products and recipes you can have fun with AND that you simply must know about and try! You may remember in October’s blog that my birth mother died of cancer just three years ago at the age of 79. Today I want to share with you that my adoptive mother died at the young age of 56 of Type 1 Diabetes when I was only 26 years old so I learned a lot about the disease during the final years of her life. What I learned from how my two mother’s lived their lives has had a direct and lasting impact on me stepping up and owning my life on every level: mind, body and spirit. When it comes to using what works for me to be able to better manage my emotional eating and food intake I have a couple of Color Style Mottos (Green & Yellow Combo) that are wired into my neurology: “If it’s not easy, forget it!” and “If it’s not fun, I’m not doing it!” Because of these mottos everything I recommend has to have been field-tested and scientifically substantiated. I sincerely hope you grab ahold of the message in today’s blog because you can in fact, manage yourself around holiday foods and drinks and I have easy and fun ways you can do starting today. What’s your mental, emotional trigger? Prepare yourself. The Holidays are coming. Let’s take a hot second here to consider what your Color Style reveals about what and how much you eat (or overeat) that you already know may not be the best choice? Are you neurologically wired to be triggered as a Put Everybody Else First BLUE, Rule Bound Count, Count, Count Calories, Carbs, Fats RED, Eating for Energy to Keep Going & Going & Going GREEN or ‘C’est la vie’ I’ll Diet Tomorrow or Next Year YELLOW? It truly is possible to enJOY your sweets AND be able to manage yourself around all of them. It can be a simple as learning a new trick as to how you can enjoy these wonderful traditions and tasty foods but not overeat ever again.
