Blessings of Christmas come to us in the silence of this most special night …

During this time of year, it’s nice to be able to take a few moments to sit back, relax and reflect on the meaning of this Holy season. I wanted to reach out and share this with you at the very start of this holiday season.

This movie’s invitation is for you to take a few minutes to slow down the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season to drink in the message that represents the true spirit of the holidays … the Peace that comes through A Silent Night.

It is truly an unforgettable movie! It is my hope that my soul inspired sentiments about A Silent Night joined with the eloquent and soothing musical artistry of pianist, Dana Cunningham from her Silent Night CD, will stir your soul.  It has become a movie people save to favorites and watch throughout the year.

Turn up your speakers and take a moment to relax into the music as you watch then share with those you think of …

The “Red Lights” of Life

Red Lights

IF YOU FIND THAT YOU ARE DOING THINGS that you know better than to do, like actually driving your car through a red light even though you know it’s dangerous, then you probably have too much “stuff’ on your mind. If you find yourself jumping into situations that you know perfectly well you have no business being in, then you might be at a place called, “I need help.”

If, after implementing each and every one of these strategies, you still find yourself in conflict, confusion or pain, you may want to look into doing what is now known as “inner work.” There no longer appears to be the societal stigma on seeking professional help there once was. Now much of our society is seeking help beyond the family or work situation.

Therefore, if you have a cycle that keeps repeating itself, regardless of all that you have tried, or if you have excessive concerns about someone else, maybe it’s time you asked for what you needed. It is human nature to need help in figuring out what’s going on for us in this life. If your leg were broken, you wouldn’t hesitate to get to the doctor, would you?

Many people have said to me that they either don’t have the money, or they don’t see how a trained professional can tell them anything they don’t already know. And I simply ask, ”If your leg looked and felt like it was broken, what would you do?” Maybe, we initially tend to view therapy more like cancer; if you don’t go to the doctor, you don’t have to know whether you are going to die or not!

However, the largest percentage of responses I hear from people who have done “inner work” with trained professionals have been most positive. They affirm that it helped them immensely in turning their circumstances around. It is imperative that you find out how valuable and wonderful you really are. In working with a therapist, you will receive tools that support you in creating your own success.

This is your life, and if it is broken and spellbound by failure, then it is up to you to get what support, focus and encouragement you need to make your life work. You deserve to be and have all that you desire. So, take heart, start putting yourself first and do the work. You are the only you you’ll ever have.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far.
So, stick to the fight when you are hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worse,
That you must not quit.
