Teach People How to Treat You

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF BECOMING a victim in business or in personal relationships, then you are teaching people it is all right to treat you in this fashion.

This strategy doesn’t mean attack back, for then you will be teaching people to attack you. It means learning to say “no” firmly and being willing to do something different if you feel your requests have not been honored.

If someone in your life is constantly bugging you, then the question to ask is, ”How am I allowing this?”

The second question to ask yourself is, “What is it going to take to change this situation?”

Once you’ve asked and answered these two crucial questions, you will be on your way to initiating new results by the ways you are now choosing to honor and represent yourself.

If it doesn’t appear to work the first time you try, then try, try again. Don’t give up. This is your cycle we are talking about. Change takes time, patience and perseverance.
