While here in America we will break out the flags, hot dogs and red, white and blue apparel to celebrate Memorial Day, we acknowledge that countries around the world have their own days and traditions to commemorate fallen soldiers.

KEEP IT SIMPLE, SWEETIE! GET BACK to what is important, back to the basics; love, peace and human kindness. Slow yourself down.

Every time I get behind a semitruck on the freeway, and it is impossible to get around I begin to feel my agitation increase. The agitation is an excellent reminder that I need to slow it down, take it easy, and know that things have a way of working themselves out. It’s far more important that I “arrive” in life, than not get there at all.

So, simplify your life. Trust that you can be alone with yourself and feel good. Trust that slowing down and allowing simplicity to seep in creates openings and an easy flowing existence.

Know that there is an answer to all questions and that all problems eventually get resolved. Trust the beauty that life has to offer you by allowing simplicity into your life. Remember, making things too complicated and hurried risks success.

Slow down, love yourself, love life and love being in the present moment.

Simplicity in all things
is the secret of the wilderness,
and one of its most valuable lessons.

I think the matter of simplicity goes further than just food,
equipment and unnecessary gadgets;
it goes into the matter of thoughts and objectives as well.
