Dear Difference Maker,

Got Kids? It May Be The Most Important Movie You Will Ever Watch!

Watch today’s thought-provoking movie that shows exactly how anyone can positively transform any intense situation in less than 30 seconds or less, by Connecting with Compassionate Attention.

Kelly Harris, a PTA Parent said it best …

“I just watched your movie.  Wow!  I had so many light bulb moments as I was watching it. I am a 45 year old mom of two girls. My oldest daughter is 16, and I can see where I have not been connecting with her, and can hardly wait for her to come home from her band camp to start connecting. My baby is just 18 months old, and I can see where I have already started the same sad way of reacting to things. But now I am certain I can change that too. It would be my wish that my school’s Administration would provide your book, for every single person on the faculty and staff. Thank You!”

Check Your Mirror!

Mirroring

MIRRORING IS PROBABLY THE oldest known self-correcting strategy known to man. It coincides with NO. 25, Teach people how to treat you, and goes even deeper into what it is we are projecting.

Children are a perfect example of this. Whether you are their parent or classroom teacher, children can reflect different aspects of your personality back to you. Sometimes we don’t like what we see. At these moments it can be to our benefit to be as honest as we can about what we are projecting in this relationship.

Mirroring does not mean that I am exactly like someone else. It is only an indicator of something past or present. It may show me a personal characteristic I am uncomfortable with and choose not to be a component of my nature. Those closest to us can reflect our innermost attitudes and beliefs.

It is my responsibility to determine if I like what I see. If I don’t, then it is up to me to seek ways to change that which I no longer desire to have as an aspect of my character.

What we are looking for
is that which is looking.
