Turn It Over To A Higher Power

WHEN YOU BECOME AWARE that you have overextended yourself on a problem, and it all seems rather hopeless, tum it over and let it go. “Hopeless” is not such a bad place to be as you are developing and strengthening a sense of your own capabilities in the world.

It is at this place that we can do nothing more than to trust something greater than ourselves. You’ve done your part. You’ve done the best that you can. It’s out of your hands now anyway, and probably has been for quite some time. You were the only one who didn’t get it!

So take a deep breath and remember who you are. You are a wonderful, loving, caring person who tried the best you could. Your relationship with a higher source will give you the freedom to move in new and creative directions, if you will ask for help, strength and guidance. The Twelve Step programs are based in this principle. It’s worth considering? Yes!

The first peace,
which is the most important,
is that which comes
within the souls of people
when they realize their relationship,
their oneness,
with the universe and all its powers,
and when they realize
that at the center of the universe
dwells the Great Spirit,
and that this center
is really everywhere,
