[TurnAround Thursday] Slow Down, Get More Done

Hey there, Difference Maker!

Are you tired of feeling like you’re always running around trying to keep up with the demands of life?

Do you ever feel like you just can’t keep up?

Well, it’s time to take a break and slow down. You heard me, slow down!

That’s right, slowing down is actually the key to getting more things done.

You may be thinking, “How can that be?”

It seems so counterintuitive. 

Here’s a funny thing about that.  If something feels counterintuitive, it’s most likely that it is in fact, intuitive. 

Growing up, we were often told we do know what we know, feel what we feel or want what we want. 

Our intuition, starts getting squashed early in life and as we grow up and leave home, if we don’t listen to our intuition we can find ourselves between a rock and a hard spot.  Right!?

The truth is, when you take a step back and slow down, you’re actually able to be more productive, efficient, and get more done in less time.

Let’s face it, when you’re constantly running around and trying to do too many things at once, you’re not really getting anything done!

You’re just spinning your wheels and wasting your valuable time and energy. But when you slow down and take things one step at a time, you can actually get more done in less time.

So the next time you feel like you’re running out of time and can’t keep up with the demands of life, take a break and slow down. Don’t be afraid to take a breather and give yourself the time and space you need to relax and recharge.

You’ll be amazed at how much more productive you can be when you slow down and take things one step at a time. So stop worrying about FOMO (fear of missing out) and start taking the time to slow down and get more done!
