Do What’s in Front of You to Do

WHAT’S UP?  IS THERE AN OPPORTUNITY that keeps knocking on your door? Well, why do you think it keeps coming? Sometimes you are not ready. After a while, you may start getting used to the idea, but still not do it!  It is only fear of failure that holds us back and after all, failure is just an illusion we sometimes give our power away to.

My favorite rule of thumb is that if an idea presents itself to me three times, I will take a serious look at doing it. The idea for this book came to me three times and in three different ways. The first two times, I didn’t really see how it was supposed to happen. By the third time, the idea was so concrete that I was fully aware of the opportunity it presented to me. I knew immediately how to do it and made a commitment to bring it about.

So go ahead right now and create the picture that you want.

Be willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen! How many balls do we have to swing at before we hit a home run? It doesn’t really matter if you will just keep your eye on the ball and continue to do what’s in front of you to do.  And remember, to get a home run, you have to meet the ball.
